New Mexico Humanities Council Podcasts

In late April 2024, a film crew for the New Mexico Humanities Council Starting Conversations project, met for two days on the Pitchfork Ranch south of Silver City, New Mexico, to film a total of four Aldo Leopold video podcasts. We used an interview format to discuss four topics:

1. Wilderness Protection 100 years on – Henry Provencio     38 minutes

2. The Indigenous Influence – Dr. Dan Shilling     41 minutes

3. Practicing Land Restoration – A.T. Cole     21 minutes

4. Practicing Land Ethics – Dr. Dan Shilling     35 minutes

I want to thank Bethany Tabor, Goiyo the videographer, and the New Mexico Humanities Council for making this project happen. I also want to thank A.T. and Lucinda Cole for their hospitality in hosting the filming at their home, the Pitchfork Ranch.

It was with great pleasure as well to work with three most knowledgeable and professional  interviewers, Henry Provencio, A.T. Cole and Dr. Dan Shilling.

We hope you find them interesting, fun and very informative and please, share the links with others you think may find these worth watching.
